“TENDER IS THE NIGHT”
Tender Is the Night is the fourth and final novel by American writer Scott Fitzgerald. The story mirrors events in the lives of the author and his wife Zelda Fitzgerald as Dick starts his descent into alcoholism and Nicole descends into mental illness. This romantic literature is full of contradictions between beautiful love and cruel reality.
LOGO
I combine multiple fonts together and decorate with diamonds as the logo for this theme. And integrate the brand's own aesthetic and atmosphere into the details of design.
Poster
These posters are designed to better match the romantic and serious atmosphere, adding content representing romantic love and serious literature.
The first poster has a gradient of blue light surrounding the moon, giving the whole poster a little bit of paper texture.
For the middle two posters, I sprayed black paint on the apple and the cube, and the excess paint was scattered around the objects like a gradient. Below them are crumpled newspapers and flat newspapers. They are real installations.
The last one, I excerpted a passage from the novel, made it into a 3D effect in C4D, and lit it from the side to create a moonlight atmosphere.
Stickers & Photography
I want to post something funny on social media to promote clothing. So I flatten the clothes on the ground, take pictures of them and print them out. Then add some handwriting text in Photoshop.
